▪ CHILDREN AND FAMILIES mental health services

The Board of Trustees requests proposals for mental health services from qualified, 501c)(3) charitable non-profit mental health organizations in Jackson County, Missouri. Proposals are due electronically October 9, 2020 before 12:00 Noon.

Eligibility: Applicant agencies are limited to 2020 Community Mental Health Fund Contractors. First-time applicants please see the “community investment” page of our website for pilot funding requirements and eligibility.

Application: Eligible applicants use their current username and password to reach our online application. (see attached instructions). Proposals can be saved in draft until finalized and submitted. NEW!  Service Unit Costs for use in proposals:  Service unit costs were updated in September, 2020.  The required documents page of our website has the new information, plus forms and information to assist applicants. Funding decisions for proposals using outdated unit costs may be delayed while applicants resubmit.

2020-2021 Changes: Proposal instructions have changed. Program managers and others involved in proposal submission should review the instructions and consider their responses to the new information requirements as soon as possible.  Please ensure all applicable staff in your organization receive this notice.

Important dates:

∙ September 16, 2020:  Zoom meeting tutorial 10 am (link to be provided).

∙ October 9, 2020 at 12:00 Noon: Deadline for proposal submission.

∙ November 13 at 9:00 AM (tentative): Appropriations Committee will interview applicants for funding. Details to be announced.

Application does not guarantee funding. If selected for funding, applicants will receive a one-year, performance-based contract that is legally binding. Material omissions or misrepresentation may result in contract termination and legal consequences including recovery of granted funds. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to amend contracts due to non-performance, changes in funding availability, or other causes. Periodic progress reporting is required. Physical facilities and records shall be reasonably open for on-site audit.
