The Community Mental Health Fund invests in quality of life for Jackson County residents. As a payer of last resort, local mental health funds make other resources go even farther. Mental health services for persons with chronic mental illness are accessible and responsive to the varied and unique needs of Jackson County residents. This is essential for the 16,000 persons who are served, their families, and for Jackson County.
Grant Application Process
The Board of Trustees makes grants to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations providing direct mental health services. For mental health agencies that are not current contractors, and who are considering an initial application: please review the information on our Funding Program Details page.
Funding opportunities are announced several times during the year. Grant programs are organized by the populations being served.
The application process begins with a Request for Proposals (RFP). We provide instructions for proposals and additional information to assist applicant agencies.
Here you will find forms and other support materials needed to apply for funding.
The Jackson County Community Mental Health Fund is a public resource responsible to the taxpayers of Jackson County. Because of this, funds are closely monitored.
